More than almost a kiss.

And how much does that change?

Then a kiss should not change much.

There's a whole difference between almost kissing and kissing.

A small bit of distance, that's all the difference.

There's more than just distance.

The same emotions and implications go into both.

It's not the emotions you feel but the emotions you exchange.

I do not see how the exchange of emotions between an almost-kiss and a kiss are that different.

Or perhaps that is an irregularity in my present situation.

Because there is no passion in an almost kiss.

There isn't much passion in stealing a kiss from someone you normally fight with.

I don't usually try and kiss the people I fight with.

What can I say? It just.. happened.

Oh yes.

But I don't feel any differently now than I did before. I don't know what he thinks of it. I caught him pretty off guard!

A great deal, in that case. It should, at least, make you question why you fight.

Oh, I know why we fight. He doesn't approve of what I do, I don't like him trying to stop me.

Strong emotion is strong emotion. It's not so difficult to see it go from conflict to connection.

Though, admittedly, I never hated him. It's always been... more of a rivalry. And he is just my type. Strong, smart, takes a punch and keeps on coming, reliable.. I can always be sure he'll try and stop me.

Those are wonderful qualities.

If he keeps trying, he must care about the outcome. And not just the competition, but the competitor. Good luck.

I think it depends on what it meant for you, and why the kiss took place.

The kiss took place because I had the spur of the moment idea to kiss him while I had him pinned rather than do damage.

Oh. Well, if your feelings previous to the kiss are unchanged, then I think everything else remains that way.
