I'm happy Dad's letting you stay at my house, but I think it's unreasonable how he'll never, ever, let us share a room together.

He's your father, he worries about you. Besides I don't know if he quite trusts me yet. You're special to him and I'm still sort of an unknown. if I had a daughter like you, I might do the same thing It doesn't bother me that much, even if I'd rather sleep with you in my arms.
I don't think he knows that I spend most of my nights sitting outside your door after everyone else has gone to sleep
