My dad is taking the night off to take me trick-or-treating! But... I don't have a costume. Mom didn't take me. She forgot.

She always forgets.

My big brother made my costume. He coughed into his hand before glanced over at a cardboard box with a screen drawn on it and little plastic cups as knobs before giving her a little frown.

It's supposed to be a T-820. It's not a T-820.

*She frowned, tipping her head and trying to make sense of the costume, but not wanting him to feel bad, she lied.*

It looks cool. Maybe you could be a tv monster? Or a robot!

His big brown eyes watered a tiny bit, hugging himself a little.

I'm supposed to be a Terminator. Dean's supposed to be John Connor.

We can't afford real Halloween costumes...De had to make one out of what we could find.

He laughed, shaking his head. Uh huh!

Mommy! *Hugs her tight then looks up at her with those large brown eyes* I don't know what to be.

Gives her a hug then and smiles We got time to take you for a costume come on. Sure we can find something.

*Worried and to impress her dad and uncles of the utmost importance, her eyes watered* Like what?

We'll go to the store and look. Go from there alright?
