Meta;

Best Stephen King movie ever?

[identity profile] hismissbell.livejournal.com 2008-10-29 03:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmmm...

The Shining is a classic. Carrie is a bit of cheesy fun. And Rose Red is a great haunted house story.

It. Absolutely.

Mun may be biased as my PB starred in it. :D

You're watching Pet Semetary!

The made for TV remake of Carrie! I can be sarcastic!

I enjoyed The Tommyknockers, and The Shining.

Stand by me. Not horror of course but I liked watching it when I was younger.

Horrorwise, I like the Shining.

The Shining with Jack Nicholson, The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.

My mun also thinks she might have seen IT as a kid but doesn't remember it at all.

I don't really watch horror movies but I have to admit The Shining was good. So was The Stand.

THE STAND!!!!!!!!!!!

*ahem*

Also, IT and The Shawshank Redemption.

The Shining was good, as was The Green Mile. I gotta admit, though.. I feel like every single Stephen King movie I've seen is 100x WORSE than the books. I love the books, but the adaptations always seem to fall short.
(Case in point: Dreamcatcher. Great book, HORRIBLE movie.)

The Stand. The book is better, though.

My mun likes the various short stories he piled together for a single film, but she really liked The Mist (even if it made her want to shoot herself at the ending).

Christine, even if the book was much better and Misery.
