Holidays grow meaningless when you're alone.

I wouldn't say that.

I'll amend my statement: alone and drifting. You see everything through a glass window, and through what you remember of what it was like.

You're not - you get detached.

Not Halloween in particular - the thought of holidays in general.

I don't know whether it's something that makes me melacholy or not, but - add time traveling to your agenda, and they don't mean so much anymore.

Sometimes being alone is better.

I don't know. This will be my first one outside of my home and without my Dad. Everyone keeps telling me that freedom is worth it though.

Freedom.

It's a tricky word.

Yeah, I'm realizing that now. I just needed to see what life was like without security, outside of the hotel.

One of the big places on the Strip in Las Vegas. My Dad owns it.

Basically. Or trapped in an ivory tower as I've recently come to see it.

How's the outside treating you so far?

Mostly been in a motel in a new city.

I'm not really sure yet. I went from security forces and a Vegas prison and went to worrying he's going to find me and then I'll have to face his disappointment. I have a friend coming to help me though.
