Good. The city it is. I don't think we'd make very good country mice anyway.
*laughs and snuggles him close*
There are some beautiful brownstones over by the park. Built back in the twenties. Three stories, lots of trees, even a little back yard. It's a lot of money but it's a buyer's market right now. We can do it, baby. If you want to, that is. If you think we're ready.
Me neither. All the houses I ever lived in were rented.
*sighs and looks around, a bit wistfully*
I'm gonna miss living here, you know? It was the first real home I had in New York. It was our first home together. I'm always gonna love this place. But we need more room, especially with six dogs. And, who knows, maybe one day...
Stewed prunes. And semolina. And salt-free crackers.
Then we'll sit out on the balcony and hold hands and think back, like you said. We'll remember the old days, when we were young and had our whole lives ahead of us. When we sat around dreaming about our first home.
*nuzzles him*
Our whole lives ahead of us. I like the sound of that.

Hi.
no subject
Hi.
*tugs him down on the couch*
Come and make spoons with me. I want to talk.
no subject
*is little spoon*
What is it?
*wiggles against Anson apprehensively*
no subject
*wraps him up tight in his arms and nuzzles him*
Only good talking, angel. I promise. I've been doing a lot of thinking lately and...
*squeezes him gently*
What would you think about us buying a house?
no subject
OMG.
Where?
no subject
Well...
*rests his hand on Arthur's chest as he talks*
I was thinking it would be nice if we could stay in the city. But I want to know what you think, baby. It's something we should both agree on.
no subject
Yeah...I would like to stay in the city too.
*takes deep breath* Wow.
no subject

I definately want to. It's just a...really big step. Little scary.
*eyes widen* I've never done anything like this before.

*smiles*
Maybe one day we'll need even more room.

It's gonna be really great. The start of all our good years.
:D
no subject
Only the start?
no subject
*beeps his nose*
We will be old men together and we will think back to right now, this time. Us talking about our first home together. It will seem so long ago.
And then we'll, like, eat prunes or something.
