No, it's alright. I stupidly got into an argument with one of my brothers and he hit me.

That is in absolutely no way your fault. I argue with my brother daily, I could never imagine him hitting me because of it. I'm very sorry this happened to you. He regrets it now, doesn't he?

My family has some ... interesting dynamics. Uhm, and, no, he doesn't. Ares isn't in the habit of regretting anything he does, especially in terms of me.

In that case I guess my next question has to be, how the hell did you manage to keep calm and not hit him back?

I've never fought back in my life, it would be a travesty of every vow I've made. And you get used to it after a while.

Are these vows of peace or...simply vows to not fight back? I just can't imagine a brother doing this to his own sister in any situation. But I've been very blessed with the brother I have.
