Well, hullo an' welcome back to the tanned Mrs. Black. Back 'n the t'ick of it already?

Been back a few days, actually, but I had wedding presents and things to sort through. That, and I apparently caught a cold while I was there. Changing climates so suddenly messes with your health.

*She smiles* Thought that, with the wedding done, we'd get to renovations. I picked up a lot of fabric swatches and everything, so we can decide what to do.

That it does. I spent a day on the mend after homecomin'. Can't wait 'til the weddin' photos come back photog though.

*She leans in to peer at the swatches, half offering the dish she's sampling*

S'we got any favorites yet?

There's definitely a reason they say not to drink the water. Even if it's filtered, it's still different. *She's pleased, however, to no longer be pasty-white*

None as yet. Since you're going to be the vocal partner, I thought you should decide. What's your theme to be, have you chosen?

Yeh? Go through the international stomach dateline every time I go home to visit me grams. Pack me own drinks.

Thought somet'ing to compliment your shop an' me background-- a harmonious eclectic mix of flavors an' dessert-- How that translates into fashion, I've not a bleedin' clue...

Mmm. Could just pick your favourite dishes from all over and serve those. It doesn't need to fit with the Closet. Just with you.

*She flips through a palette of paint samples, all from Muggle stores* I'm thinking something fairly . . . mid-to-dark toned, warm colours, but with plenty of lighting. Not overly bright, but not so dark as the Leaky Cauldron. I personally like being able to see my food.

*With her favorite dishes in mind, she thumbs through the sample book, already the shop was taking shape. Mana stops on a few collage of pages, arranging the elements*

Ooh, I like that. The rich browns, golds, with reds accents, an' gold lightin'd be lovely.

*She smirks. Young chief is unimpressed with the LC's dinner service*

Not seeing it’s a pleasure. I like being able to taste a food with flavor other than the plate. But for drinks, they're tops.

I like *she begins to tear objects from the pages and arranging them on the table top* this (http://www.restaurantfurniture.net/DunaSideChair-OnSale_154.html) for chairs, and dark mahogany (http://www.restaurantfurniture.net/SolidWoodTableTops_128.html) make for the durable hardwood tables tops and counters. Those are boss drapery but, hmmm, the booths.. Imma torn. Rather fancy the Lalaine Decorator Fabric in Truffle but wonder if it'll be overwhelmin' for a booth. I really like the Ticieana Lacquer Decorator Fabric could those be incorporated somewhere. Maybe draperies?

Really busy fabrics tend to be best as accents or things not looked at extensively. I think it would be wonderful for chair seats.
