This file is ridiculous. Redonkulous, really.

I hadn't really thought about it until my criminology professor recommended me for the internship. I thought I'd just stay in the family business. Private investigating... ish. It's been a pretty lucrative career for me thus far in my short but eventful life.

What college?

I started out studying psychology myself. I was just drawn to the criminal brain. Not sure what that says about mine.

So what sort of cases do you generally investigate?

Hearst. It's a small liberal arts college in southern California. Approximately no one has heard of it, so don't worry. You're not alone.

Huh. Well, I always knew I was going to major in criminology. It's just what I do. It's the Sonny to my Cher. Or something.

I've pretty much run the gamut. I've helped solve a few murders, identity theft, missing people, stolen property, hidden love affairs... you name it, I've been there. My experience is plentiful.

Great, then I'll skip the obligatory smiling and nodding.

Someone your age knows who Sonny and Cher are? Color me shocked.

A regular Sherlock, sounds like.

I know a lot of things. I'll blame my wise and elderly father.

That's me~ Only more adorable. And I don't have a pipe. Or an opium addiction, come to think of it. I'll have to work on that.

I'm sure he's proud.

But he probably wouldn't be too happy with where this conversation is going.

I'm sure he'll understand the sacrifices I have to make for greatness.
