Amy couldn't believe his attitude towards this. She wasn't asking for his sympathy but the fact that he had none wasn't something she was fond of at all. In fact it made her suspicious, "Did you have something to do with this?"

Amy held her breath as another contraction hit her before she glared at the man. "Who are you? How do you know the Doctor?"

Amy's breath got caught in her throat when she heard the Doctor speak up. "Doctor?" Amy asked, cautious because she wasn't sure if this was her minds playing tricks on her again.

For once he didn't have the slightest clue what was going on. "Amy," he said. "We're coming for you, okay? Are you alright?"

"What do you mean we? Is Rory with you?" Amy asked as she looked around, her voice cracking on Rory's name. Inhaling sharply as another contraction hit her, it took her a moment to finally answer the Doctor's question. "It hurts."

"I know, you just have to do what they tell you. You can't fight nature," he said and looked around the TARDIS before looking over his shoulder. "And yes, he's with me."
