[Derek freezes and gives the other man one of his best scowls. It's only one human. If push comes to shove, that guy will be sorry. For now he'll keep himself under check.]

[Barsad casually holds his hands up, a soft and amicable smile, touched with a speck of deception, spreads across his lips as he does so.]
