"I do not see why you cannot here it together." Jem sounds puzzled as his eyes flicker between Will and Tessa. In close quarters the unease between them is evident. Something must be done about it. He squeezed Will's shoulder in a warning and his eyes pleaded not to protest the inclusion of Tessa in listening to the song.

"An excursion is a lot more energetic. An outing is more gentle, like a picnic that I insist you both join me at tomorrow at Hyde Park." Surely they could repair some of the problems between the two of them outside of the Institute.
