[Silver place the mug on the table, loosens and re-tightens the knot of his tie.] It is rather, isn't it? One of my favourites.
Not this one, no, but perhaps... [As his hand pulls away, an un-knotted duplicate of the tie comes with it. Silver holds it out for Gilderoy.] This one.
[ Gilderoy almost looks sad, but then the older male produces a copy of the one he's wearing and the young wizard's smile re-appears just as quickly as it disappeared. He takes it and tries to put it on, though it'll clash with his emerald green robes awfully. ]
I've never had a muggle tie before! It's not self-tying, is it? [ Uh oh, what did Professor Dumbledore say about talking to the muggles about magic, Gilderoy? ]
[Once the young man had been satisfied with the tie, Silver was going to turn his full attention back to his work on the mug. The words "muggle" and "self-tying tie" catch his attention anew.]
Self-tying? No, just a normal, everyday tie, I'm afraid. Sounds like an excellent thing to have though, rather futuristic. [Since maybe that's where -or rather when- this young man's from, in Silver's mind.]
[ Although Gilderoy likes to pretend he's magnificent at everything he does, he just can't get this tie to work properly! He flashes the older male a nervous if very bright smile. ]
I rather do! Usually I'm terrific at getting dressed, even the most complicated bows and buttons.
[Silver gives a soft chuckle.] Allow me then. [He reaches over to tie a double Windsor knot, at the same time getting a better look at the young man's clothes; taking his own sort of assessment of them.
He hangs on to the tie a little longer than possibly necessary while taking in the final results of his examination.] Hmm.
[He steps back, seeming to survey the look of the tie on the young man. Old fashioned clothes, Silver thinks, made in the present day -but not machined in any way- with the same sort of energy as the mug.]
[Finally realizing the young man's awaiting Silver's answer, he quickly makes one up.] Maybe a bit; the colours are fine together, but it's perhaps a bit too sleek for the frill.
Hmm, well I'll look forward to seeing you and that tie then.
[Silver looks away for a moment towards a blond man and woman standing a little ways away at the bar. He sits back down at the table with the mug.] Right back to work I suppose.
[He pinches where the handle of the mug meets the container, slowly working to separate them.]

Here~! Why do you want just the mug, sir?

The metal in it -you see- it's different than most metals I'm used to seeing in human forged items. Very intriguing; seems to go with this place.

Your tie is very stylish. May I have it?

Do you need help tying it?

I do hope it won't clash... should I change into a different set of robes?

I'm afraid I don't have any robes without frill yet, sir! When I'm older and- and famous I'll buy a great many clothes~!
