[Once the young man had been satisfied with the tie, Silver was going to turn his full attention back to his work on the mug. The words "muggle" and "self-tying tie" catch his attention anew.]

Self-tying? No, just a normal, everyday tie, I'm afraid. Sounds like an excellent thing to have though, rather futuristic. [Since maybe that's where -or rather when- this young man's from, in Silver's mind.]
